AVD Anbieter Vergleich is an independent information and comparison site on the Altersvorsorgedepot (Germany’s state-subsidized retirement investment account), the subsidized successor to the Riester pension. We are not a product provider, not a bank, not an insurer. We do not sell contracts, we do not provide investment advice and we do not broker financial products.<\/span><\/p>

Our sole task is to explain the new Altersvorsorgedepot in an understandable way and to compare the providers against transparent criteria as soon as real products come to market from 1 January 2027. The Altersvorsorgedepot affects around 44 million people eligible for the subsidy and is at the same time a complex product: different types of provider, various product variants, a new subsidy and tax mechanism, and a decumulation phase with several options. At the same time, almost every provider has a commercial interest in putting its own product front and center.<\/span><\/p>

Rolf Henning Hackel holds a law degree (Diplom-Jurist) and has worked for over two decades at the intersection of sales, financial technology and law. As a serial founder, board member and managing director in the FinTech and WealthTech sector, he has helped build investment advisory and wealth management platforms in the heavily regulated German market.
