What lies behind the commitment

The page has carried a new date since 1 September 2026. Nothing has changed in the wording; the commitment stands unaltered.

All three categories. Allianz announced that on 16 June 2026, for 1 January 2027, with Allianz Leben starting shoulder to shoulder with a sister company and the offerings named as a retirement contract with an 80% contribution guarantee, an Altersvorsorgedepot without a guarantee, and the statutory standard depot.

The level of the guarantee is the real news. No other provider in the monitor had committed to a figure as at the verification date. 80% means four fifths of the contributions paid in are assured at the start of the pension, with the rest carrying market risk.

One question was open and in part still is. As the basis, the June release named the InvestFlex concept, and InvestFlex is a unit-linked annuity policy. Then came 14 August. Since then the product page separates the three categories cleanly, and the 80% guarantee there applies expressly only to the retirement contract. On the depot beside it Allianz still says nothing. Whether it will be a genuine securities depot or run inside an insurance wrapper is nowhere stated, and for costs, cancellation and transferability that very difference matters a great deal.

On 20 August 2026 the page was touched again. Nothing new was on it afterwards. The evidence date moves along all the same, because it says when we last saw the wording at the source.

The page was updated on 25 August 2026. That changes nothing essential; the commitment stands there unaltered.

On 15 September 2026 there was a section on costs here. It is gone. Measured on 2 and again on 6 October 2026, the words Effektivkosten, Kostendeckel, Depotgebühr and Entgelt no longer appear anywhere on the page, not even in the collapsed text. What stood in it at the time was in any case the statutory cap for the standard securities account and not a price of its own — so what has been lost is not a price but an explanation.

In return the commitment has become sharper. The page now says that Allianz will be ready with solutions for all three product categories when the reform starts, and it names them: AltersvorsorgeVertrag InvestFlex80 with a contribution guarantee, AltersvorsorgeDepot InvestFlex and the Standarddepot. Alongside this it says that from January 2027 these can be taken out online. For the securities account the answer is still missing as to whether it runs inside an insurance wrapper.

Questions and answers

Does Allianz offer an Altersvorsorgedepot?
Yes. Evidence: the provider's website, 6 October 2026. The wording and our verification date are at the top of this page.
Is this a securities account at Allianz?
Not in the strict sense. Allianz offers the product inside an insurance wrapper. That changes the cost structure, the cancellation rules and the payout; do not compare it one to one with a securities account at a bank.
What does the Altersvorsorgedepot cost at Allianz?
There is an announcement, but no price. Only the schedule of fees that follows certification turns a statement into a price.
