Altersvorsorgedepot at AXA from 2027
AXA committed to early 2027 back in April 2026 and names equity funds, thematic funds and ETFs as well as three payout routes. Costs, fund selection and the institution holding the securities account are still missing today.
The commitment in detail
AXA spoke on 22 April 2026, earlier than most of its competitors. The Altersvorsorgedepot will be available in early 2027, it said, with more detailed product information to follow during 2026. That announcement has stood unchanged since.
On investments AXA names equity funds, thematic funds and ETFs. For the payout there are three routes to choose from: a lifelong annuity, a withdrawal plan up to the age of 85, or a partial withdrawal. Existing Riester customers are to be able to switch.
What is missing is everything verifiable. No costs, no fund selection, no custodian. Whether a guarantee variant will come as well is unevidenced. For an insurer that would be the obvious addition — but obvious is not evidence.
