The commitment in detail

InterRisk promises a product of its own, and does so on first-name terms. Look forward to a product that makes the best of the new state options, it says. Above that sentence runs the line that the new Altersvorsorgedepot is coming. So the provider is talking about itself. Not about the law.

Where the page sits is striking. Namely nowhere. In no navigation, findable only through a teaser on the home page; the path was in the source code. A provider that announces a product and hides the page about it is also saying something about how far along it is.

Specifics, by contrast, are entirely absent. What is named are the statutory figures: €540 basic subsidy, €300 per child, €200 career-starter bonus and the guarantee levels. No costs, no product name, no calculator. Instead of a waiting list there is a newsletter sign-up, in which you can additionally consent to being passed on to a sales partner. The page carries no date. We therefore check it in every round, and the review date above is the only date we can give for it.
