DKB in the provider monitor

Altersvorsorgedepot at DKB from 2027

confirmed

From 2027 DKB will require a pension contract with the bank itself, thereby naming itself as the contracting party. A curated selection of financial instruments is announced, so not a free choice of securities.

The commitment in detail

DKB runs a product page of its own with a model calculator and a waiting list. The sentence on which we base the status is unusually precise: from 2027, using the Altersvorsorgedepot will require a retirement contract with DKB. The bank names itself.

More important for investors is a second announcement. DKB holds out the prospect of a curated selection of financial instruments that may depart from everything the law allows — in plain terms, a preselection instead of free choice of securities. Anyone wanting to fill their own depot should settle that before signing.

A depot fee of 0.15% is doing the rounds in several comparisons. At DKB it is nowhere to be found. The product page also carries no publication date, which is why we check it afresh every round.

Answered briefly

Does DKB offer an Altersvorsorgedepot?
Yes. Evidence: the provider's website. The wording and our verification date are at the top of this page.
What has DKB already decided, and what not?
The intention is decided, evidenced by the provider's website. Costs, fund selection and certification are not decided.
What does the Altersvorsorgedepot cost at DKB?
Not settled — and not at any provider in the market. Figures circulating online appear on no provider's own page. It only becomes binding with the schedule of fees that follows certification.
