Altersvorsorgedepot at Helvetia from 2027

confirmed

Helvetia names three solutions of its own: Altersvorsorgedepot Standard and Premium as investment solutions, Best Invest Altersvorsorgedepot as an insurance solution. The Startdepot as a bridging solution for the fourth quarter of 2026 has not been on the page since October.

What lies behind the commitment

Three variants, one page. Helvetia covers the subject on a customer page of its own and names three variants. The standard securities account invests in ETFs, the premium one in managed portfolios, and Best Invest comes on top.

The Helvetia Startdepot is the striking one. It is to be available as early as the fourth quarter of 2026, a quarter before the statutory launch. That makes it not a subsidised Altersvorsorgedepot.

Signing up is not provided for on the page. There is a request for a quote, a pointer to advice, and two calculator buttons that lead into the sales-partner area.

On costs Helvetia has so far said nothing. In the broker area a webinar on its own Altersvorsorgedepot ran on 14 September 2026. Nothing from it has been published.

On 15 September 2026 the sales-partner page describes the offering more precisely than the customer page does. AVD Standard is built on ETFs. AVD Premium works with professionally managed portfolios of active fund and ETF concepts. Best Invest AVD is the insurance solution. On the Startdepot it says there that it is a bridging solution for the Altersvorsorgedepots, with the holdings to be moved across into them later. Costs? Not a figure, on either page. The webinar series for brokers continues; part four, on 28 September 2026, covers guarantee models.

Two dates on one page. The product text says the Helvetia Startdepot will be available as early as the fourth quarter of 2026, while the collapsed FAQ says a Startdepot can be used from October 2026. October falls within the fourth quarter. That is not a contradiction, the FAQ is simply more precise, and it thereby names a month that has already begun. The Startdepot is still not a state-subsidised Altersvorsorgedepot. According to the page, the move into the AVD product is to be possible from 1 January 2027 by consent, with the assets transferring along. Read at the source on 8 October 2026.

Questions and answers

Does Helvetia offer an Altersvorsorgedepot?
From 2027, yes. The provider is already training its sales force on a product it calls the Helvetia Altersvorsorgedepot. Evidence: the provider's website.
Why isn't the evidence on the retail page?
Because so far it only says that solutions are being developed. The more specific statement is in the sales-partner area of the same website. We name that as the type of evidence at the top, so the rating stays verifiable.
What does the Altersvorsorgedepot cost at Helvetia?
There is an announcement, but no price. A price is only settled once the schedule of fees is published after certification.
