Altersvorsorgedepot at Volks- und Raiffeisenbanken from 2027
Your Volksbank or Raiffeisenbank will have an Altersvorsorgedepot from 2027. The commitment comes from the cooperative partner Union Investment, which intends to distribute the products exclusively through these banks.
What lies behind the commitment
On 11 May 2026 Union Investment announced products under the UniVorsorge label. The distribution channel is narrowly drawn. From 2027 the products are to run exclusively through the cooperative banks, that is through the local Volksbanken and Raiffeisenbanken. The release names no second route.
You sign up at the bank. It becomes your contracting party, it advises you, and any cancellation later runs through it as well. Union Investment launches the funds and holds no depots itself.
We have found no statement by the banks themselves. The rating therefore rests on the release by their network partner, which describes the channel through which the product ultimately reaches customers. That is sound all the same.
