Altersvorsorgedepot at Evergreen from 2027

confirmed

Evergreen names 1 January 2027 and provides a subsidy calculator of its own. The transfer it advertises out of an ordinary securities account requires, by its own account, a separate type of securities account.

What lies behind the commitment

Evergreen names a date and a route. From 1 January 2027 the Altersvorsorgedepot is to be openable directly at Evergreen. There is a subsidy calculator of its own on the page. The page is dated May 2026 and states itself that certification by the Federal Central Tax Office is still outstanding.

What is advertised is a three-step process that deserves attention. First a regular depot, then the switch in 2027, then the subsidy application. Evergreen writes itself, however, that this switch will probably require a depot type of its own and therefore will not happen by itself. Nothing here is automatic.

There is a risk of confusion here. The “Depot eröffnen” button leads to the regular Evergreen depot without the subsidy, and anyone clicking it in the context of the Altersvorsorgedepot page may expect something quite different. We record it because it can cost time and money.

The sentence that promised the start is no longer on the page. Until 9 October 2026 it read „Start: 01.01.2027. Du kannst dein Altersvorsorgedepot dann direkt bei Evergreen eröffnen.“ The page now carries a status of October 2026 and puts it more cautiously. What remains is the heading „Wir bringen es zum Start an den Markt“, below it „Wir arbeiten an einer attraktiven Lösung“. The FAQ says it is expected to start at Evergreen from 2027, and the risk note mentions the pending certification by the BZSt. We continue to list the provider as confirmed, because the heading is a commitment in the first person. The evidence is weaker than before. Read at the source on 12 October 2026.

On the investment side the provider now says more. At the outset the client chooses an investment profile, after which Evergreen invests in its own funds, and the equity share falls as the pension approaches. Individual shares are said not to be permitted by law. No cost figure comes with it. The provider itself calls this „unser Stand heute“ and points to the binding terms issued before an account is opened.
