What lies behind the commitment

ÖSA does not say it is examining something; it is already collecting applications in advance. You can put yourself on the waiting list, it says, and will then be contacted as soon as the application can be taken. That is the language of a provider planning a product of its own and already sorting prospects for it, not of one watching the market. A difference.

The page is better equipped than at most insurers. There is a real waiting-list form, plus two calculators, one for the subsidy and one for comparison with an existing Riester contract. A newsletter comes on top.

There is one figure, though with nothing to relate it to. A list of benefits says that monthly amounts from ten euros are possible. That is the smallest savings instalment and not a price. What the depot will cost, ÖSA does not say. Not a word on it. The page carries no date. We therefore check it in every round, and the review date above is the only date we can give for it.
