Altersvorsorgedepot at uniVersa from 2027

in preparation

By its own words uniVersa is already working on suitable products. A commitment that they will come does not appear on the page.

What has been announced

Two sentences on the same page say the same thing. In the key-points box it says uniVersa Lebensversicherung is already working on suitable products so that customers can benefit from the subsidy promptly. Further down, for existing customers, it is put even more directly: new retirement product solutions for 2027 onwards are currently being developed.

What is notable is the gap between explanation and self-disclosure. The page shows a product matrix with three variants — Altersvorsorgedepot with a guarantee, Altersvorsorgedepot, and standard depot — complete with guarantee and investment logic. Which of them uniVersa intends to offer itself is nowhere stated. Not a word.

The page does not sit in the product section but under the company heading, reachable via the menu item Altersvorsorgereformgesetz 2027. It carries no date, which is why we have to read it through in full every round. The page carries no date. We therefore check it in every round, and the review date above is the only date we can give for it.

Questions and answers

Does uniVersa offer an Altersvorsorgedepot?
Not yet committed. By its own account the provider is working on suitable products. Evidence: the provider's website.
What has uniVersa already decided, and what not?
The work on products is decided. The offering itself, the product form, the costs and certification are not decided.
What does the Altersvorsorgedepot cost at uniVersa?
The page explains the reform and names subsidy amounts. What the securities account will cost is not there. A price only becomes binding with the schedule of fees that follows certification.

Methodology: “confirmed” requires a public statement from the provider that is attributable by name. “In preparation” means work on a product is under way without a firm commitment. “Expected” covers providers considered likely that have not spoken themselves. We review every entry regularly; the review date is shown above. This page is no substitute for individual advice.
