The commitment in detail

Alte Leipziger is preparing for the reform and will offer new state-subsidised products, its own page says. The second sentence gets more specific: the Altersvorsorgedepot will be available in early 2027.

There is nothing more. Further information is promised for the course of 2026, without a firmer date.

There is a separate commitment for existing customers. Anyone who already holds a Riester pension with Alte Leipziger will have that contract continued on its current terms. A transfer into the new product, by contrast, is not committed — and that difference matters.

The page carries no date. There is no waiting list, only a newsletter.
