The figures have been on two product pages of their own since October 2026. Before that we only knew the release of 14 September, and for the larger variant it gave 1.35% — more than double today's value.

The commitment in detail

On the Altersvorsorgedepot, Fidelity appears under its own name. Its own release of 8 May 2026 is headed „Fidelity International launcht Altersvorsorgedepot“, and on a customer page the provider describes the offering for the launch on 1 January 2027. The page carries the reference PIA1460 and the month September 2026.

Two routes are described. The standard depot invests in two ETFs, one cautious and one return-oriented, and adjusts the split to the customer's age automatically. Beside it stands an Altersvorsorgedepot with several ETFs and funds in the portfolio. For the standard depot the page names an intended cost limit of one percent a year. That is the statutory cap for this contract type and not a price stated by Fidelity.

The names have settled. In September the two models were still called “Standarddepot” and “Altersvorsorgedepot” on the customer pages, but “Fidelity VorsorgeDepot Standard” and “Fidelity VorsorgeDepot Plus” in the sales-partner area. Since October 2026 the provider has run two product pages of its own on fidelity.de, and there they are called Fidelity VorsorgeDepot and Fidelity VorsorgeDepot Plus.

On 14 September 2026 Fidelity published a page of its own on this, headed „Vor Marktstart wissen, was zählt: Das Altersvorsorgedepot von Fidelity und FFB“ — know what counts before market launch: the Altersvorsorgedepot from Fidelity and FFB. With that the provider names the division itself, and in a title. The page is dated September 2026 and carries the reference MK17772. It is aimed at sales partners and shows a recording that the provider expressly does not intend for retail investors.

Since 7 October 2026 the prices have been on pages of their own, and two of them differ from September. The Fidelity VorsorgeDepot costs around 0.35% product costs of the average securities account value a year, plus a securities account fee of €1 a month. The VorsorgeDepot Plus costs around 0.6% plus €2 a month. The distribution-list release of 14 September had still named 0.35% or 0.75% for the standard securities account and 1.35% for the portfolio service. The 0.75% appears on no page, and 1.35% has become less than half. The securities account fees are confirmed: €1 and €2 a month are the €12 and €24 a year from the release.

Some context belongs with this, or the comparison misleads. According to the provider, these product costs cover acquisition and distribution, securities account fee, commissions, platform costs and the ongoing fund costs. Deka's 0.1% applies to the ETFs only. Scalable Capital starts free of charge. That puts Fidelity above the cheapest providers, but it explicitly aims its offer also at intermediaries and advisers, whose remuneration is included. For the first half of 2027 the provider announces a second stage, a curated offer of selected asset managers and the Altersvorsorgedepot Select, in which advisers make the fund selection themselves.

Since today the two ETFs have been named on the page. The growth-oriented building block is called Fidelity All Country Equity Research Enhanced Strategie, risk class 4. The defensive one is called Fidelity Euro Ultra Short Duration Bond Strategie, risk class 2. They do not exist yet. According to the provider, both will be launched specifically for this securities account only in the fourth quarter. The glide path runs over the ten years before the start of the pension. It may be overridden. The split between the two ETFs can be set manually in steps of ten percent. Read at the source on 8 October 2026.

Which products Fidelity has announced

Two products. The Fidelity VorsorgeDepot relies on two purpose-built, actively managed ETFs with lifecycle management. Alongside it stands the VorsorgeDepot Plus, a managed portfolio service with three risk profiles.

The small print is worth a look here: the product costs are total costs and not pure fund costs. Anyone who compares them with Deka's 0.1% is comparing unlike things.

Answered briefly

Does Fidelity offer an Altersvorsorgedepot?
Yes, as of 1 January 2027. The provider announced it on 8 May 2026 under its own name, and runs a customer page for it. Evidence: the provider's website, 7 October 2026.
What does the Altersvorsorgedepot cost at Fidelity?
The Fidelity VorsorgeDepot costs around 0.35% a year plus a securities account fee of €1 a month, the VorsorgeDepot Plus around 0.6% plus €2. According to the provider, this covers acquisition and distribution, securities account fee, commissions, platform costs and the ongoing fund costs. Source: provider website of 7 October 2026.
Why are FIL Fondsbank and Fidelity listed separately in the monitor?
Because they have different roles. Fidelity takes the offering to customers and advisers; its sister company FIL Fondsbank runs the securities account platform. For costs, cancellation and enquiries, what counts is whose name ends up on the contract.
Where are Fidelity's prices stated?
On two product pages of its own at fidelity.de, since October 2026, with the identifiers PIA1513 and PIA1514. Until then they appeared only in a release sent through a press distribution list on 14 September 2026 — and two of the figures have changed since.
What does the account cost on top of the fund costs?
€1 a month for the VorsorgeDepot and €2 for the VorsorgeDepot Plus, so €12 and €24 a year. So far Fidelity is the only provider that names a securities account fee at all.
