What lies behind the commitment

finanzen.net ZERO published a product page on the Altersvorsorgedepot on 16 July 2026. The wording is market standard: as soon as the Altersvorsorgedepot is anchored in law, it will be available at ZERO as quickly as possible. Added to that are a waiting list, a retirement calculator and a note that an existing Riester pension is to be transferable.

Advertised is entry by savings plan or lump sum from ten euros a month, and that is one of the few specific figures that come from a provider itself at all. Whether it holds remains to be seen. A price only becomes binding with the schedule of fees that follows certification.

On care, the page has gaps. It describes the state of the legislation differently in two places, and it names a maximum payment of €7,000 where other providers consistently give €6,840. We record the discrepancy, because a wrong upper limit can cost real money.

On 28 July 2026 the product page was updated. Nothing changed in substance; the lead still advertises being fee-free at ZERO, without a fee table appearing anywhere.

About finanzen.net ZERO

finanzen.net ZERO is the neobroker of the financial portal finanzen.net, launched in 2022, aimed above all at beginners with free ETF and equity savings plans. It is operated by finanzen.net zero GmbH of Karlsruhe. That is not an authorised institution of its own. Broking runs under the liability of DonauCapital Wertpapier GmbH, while the account and the securities account sit with Baader Bank — and that is what decides whom you end up signing an Altersvorsorgedepot contract with.
