The commitment in detail

On 4 September 2026 the bank announced a subsidy calculator in its own newsroom, with which the personal bonus can be worked out. The commitment itself stands unchanged on the product page.

apoBank puts it more precisely than almost anyone else: it is working on certification and will offer a subsidy-eligible retirement product from 1 January 2027.

What is described is a standard depot built from two blocks, a defensive one of fixed-income securities and a more aggressive one with global ETFs. The bank also plans to bring in active investment decisions from its own asset management arm.

One feature concerns the customer group. apoBank serves the health professions and writes that it can obtain the data needed for the subsidies directly through its existing access to the professional pension funds. Nobody else makes a commitment about the procedure this specific.

Terms are missing. The one-percent limit, named three times, is expressly attributed by the bank to the legislator. There is a pre-registration form.
