What the commitment covers

Debeka runs a landing page of its own with a timeline. It is developing the offerings around the Altersvorsorgedepot so that customers can benefit at the launch on 1 January 2027. Two formulations on the same page sit in tension with each other.

“Wir entwickeln unsere Angebote” — we are developing our offerings — sounds like preparation and keeps a retreat open; the FAQ then speaks of “einem Altersvorsorgedepot der Debeka”, an Altersvorsorgedepot from Debeka, and that is a commitment. We went with the stronger evidence.

The note on switching matters in practice. Riester contracts from other providers are to be convertible into a Debeka Altersvorsorgedepot by changing provider. A board-level quote is missing. The evidence rests on the provider's own page alone, which we disclose above.

This page moved in August 2026. The earlier address ran as a landing page; since the move the content sits permanently in the Zukunft und Alter section, and the old address returns a 404 error. Nothing was lost in substance, including the timeline, the subsidy examples and the information service, which promises to tell you when you can start at Debeka.

We classify that as a pre-registration. Signing up for the information service leaves your address without a contract arising, and that is exactly what this level describes. Until 11 September 2026 this said product page, which was our misclassification. The page carries no date. We therefore check it in every round, and the review date above is the only date we can give for it.
