What the commitment covers

Finanzguru gives the clearest answer in the whole field. Asked whether there will be an Altersvorsorgedepot, it simply says “Ja” — yes — followed by the announcement that the product will arrive in the app from January 2027, in cooperation with Franklin Templeton.

The page shows a roadmap of its own, from the subsidy guidelines through development and approval to the product launch, and a waiting list is already live. Timetables like that are unusually open. They make it checkable whether a provider is on schedule.

One gap remains. Which custodian stands behind the offering is not publicly evidenced, and Franklin Templeton is cooperating with MorgenFund in parallel. Whether Finanzguru uses the same infrastructure or another does not emerge from either provider's publications. Who ends up as the contracting party therefore stays open.

About Finanzguru

Finanzguru is a finance app from dwins GmbH of Frankfurt am Main that analyses accounts and contracts automatically. BaFin authorised the company as a payment institution in 2019, not as an investment firm, which is why it cannot hold securities accounts itself. Which institution will take that on from 2027 does not appear on its own page.
